Meg Anderson is a dance music and theater artist; explorer and connoisseur of the various

heart and art playgrounds available to us in this life. She has trained under many great

contributors to performing and immersive arts including Martha Jacobs, student of

Stanford Meisner ; Joy Davis, master teacher of the dance method

The Countertechnique; Nell Weatherwax and Erica Mott, illusion and physical theater.

Whether music, dance, immersive theater or comedy, Meg enjoys the craft of

disorienting to then re-orient her audiences -- to reintroduce a witness to their

big feeling selves, to their community, & to the planet. 

Meg and Kinetic Dust collaborators began making dance, music and theater in 2003 and has since directed, co-produced and performed in fifteen original evening-length productions, three albums, and several smaller projects. 

Recent and Current Projects include

Big Gay Debutante Ball (2018 - Current): An unapologetic coming out musical. & Red Delicious (2017): An immersive dance-theater experience in Oakland's volcanic hills following nine women's stories of re-wilding and reviving The Witch.

Site specific contemporary dance trio – a spectacle playing with exploding binary, inspired by the Tao Te Ching : “the one became the two, became the myriad things”. A favorite ending to be sure, celebratory and cathartic as fuck – the three of us dancers whipping paint-filled balloons at a white canvas and shrieking and hollering as we triumphed over the tyrant of Perfection.
